Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Stable conditions will likely prevail across the Leeward Islands and the Virgin Islands, as a high-pressure system remains the main weather feature. Shallow pockets of moisture moving over the islands could trigger light and brief showers. Daytime heating and available moisture could trigger unsettled afternoon conditions for Puerto Rico. Meanwhile, approaching Potential Tropical Cyclone 2 will begin to affect conditions across Trinidad and Tobago as well as the Windward Islands today.
