RSCNPF RECOVERS QUANTITY OF AMMUNITION ATNEW ROAD
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) reports that a quantity of assorted ammunition was recovered during a joint search operation conducted at an empty lot at Agnes Skerrit Street, New Road, St. Kitts, on July 28th , 2026, by the Anti- Narcotics Unit and Special Services Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), the Joint Security Operational Tactical Team (JSOTT), and the St. Kitts- Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF).
The officers recovered a total of fifty-nine (59) rounds of assorted ammunition, comprising fifteen 9mm rounds, ten .223 rounds, seventeen .38 Special rounds, eight .40 rounds, six .45 rounds, and three 7.62 rounds. The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit of the RSCNPF and the contraband items were taken into police custody. No one has yet been held accountable for the contraband find. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
