BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, October 14, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – The Team Unity Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, acting on the advice of the High Command of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and other technocrats in the Ministry of National Security, approved the recommendation to invite the Barbados-based Regional Security System (RSS) to deploy forces to St. Kitts and Nevis.

POLICE INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERY AT SPORTS BAR ON BAY ROAD

 Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 14, 2018 (RSCNPF): Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred at a sports bar on the Irishtown Bay Road Friday night (October 12). 

The Police received the report of the robbery just after 11 p.m. on Friday and responded. Investigations so far have revealed that several persons were inside the bar when five (5) armed masked men entered and ordered everyone on the floor. The assailants then robbed them of personal belongings. They also took a large sum of money from the cash register before fleeing the scene. It was also reported that one of the assailants hit the bartender across her head.
