MINISTRY OF EDUCATION’S NATIONAL ASSESSMENT TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN STAGES

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 1, 2022 (SKNIS): The new national assessment dubbed Key Stage Assessment of Learning (KAL), which is set to come on stream shortly will be implemented in stages, said the Acting Director at the Curriculum Development Unit – Teacher Resources Center (CDU-TRC) within the Ministry of Education, Amanda Serrant-Edmead, during her March 30 appearance on Working for You.

On March 21st – 25th 2022, twelve employees from the St. Kitts Electricity Company Limited SKELEC and Nevlec – Nevis Electricity Co. Ltd participated in Practical Safety Training Exercises on Power Line and Electric Infrastructure Restoration. This training included Grounding, Safe Bucket Truck Operation, Bucket truck rescue, and Pole hurt man rescue. The participants of this training are better equipped to assist member countries in times of disaster.
