This means that the ban, which was instituted as part of the measures under Jamaica’s Disaster Risk Management Act, will be lifted as of May 1, 2021.

A local history enthusiast was walking in the forest when he noticed the stone marking the boundary between the two countries had moved 2.29m (7.5ft).

Drugs found in shipping container of popular business

Saint Lucian police on Tuesday seized a large quantity of drugs, possibly one of the largest drug busts carried out on the island by law enforcement authorities.

According to information received, the drugs were found in a container of supplies belonging to a popular business in the north of the island.

Eyewitnesses recall seeing at least four police pick-up vans exiting the compound with large white packages in the back.
