EAST BASSETERRE CONTINUES TO BENEFIT FROM IAN PATCHES LIBURD SOCIAL ASSISTANCE AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FUND .

Minister of Public Infrastructure, Posts, Urban Development , Energy and Transport and Parliamentry Representative for East Basseterre Hon. Ian “Patches” Liburd has remained true to his promise and commitment to the people of East Basseterre through the launch and maintenance of the East Basseterre Social Assistance Fund. Hon. Liburd announced the programme as one of his commitments to the people of East Basseterre during the lead up to the 2015 elections. As one of his many promises to the people of East Basseterre Liburd committed a portion of his monthly salary to the people of East Basseterre .

In a detailed judgement issued today July 2^nd, 2018, Justice Ward concluded that Dominican law is a matter of fact and therefore, he would need an expert in Dominican law to testify on the subject. Therefore, the testimonies of expert witnesses will be allowed in the diplomatic passport case.Leader of the Opposition, Rt. Hon. Dr Denzil Douglas has once again risen above the coalition administration’s attempts to eject him from the federal Parliament following the delivery of Justice Trevor Ward’s judgement on the matter of whether an expert witness should be allowed in the diplomatic passport case.
