Deputy Leader Marcella Liburd Calls On COP & DPP To Investigate Harris’ Involvement in London Bribery Scandal
As a result of Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris’ refusal to comment directly on the London Bribery Scandal and his relationship with billionaire Peter Virdee, citizens have begun to seek answers elsewhere and are hence calling on local authoritative bodies to investigate the matter.
Speaking on behalf of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis, Deputy Leader of the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party Hon. Marcella Liburd called on the Commissioner of Police and the Director of Public Prosecution to look into the Prime Minister’s involvement in the bribery scandal as it is an illegal offence.
