The Cabinet Ministers celebrated the two white stars in our National flag for National Colours Day, representing Hope and Liberty, which in my mind are two very important aspects which make the human spirit shine. In continuing the Independence Anniversary school tour, more future stars of our nation were visited including the Deane-Glasford Primary School (my alma mater formerly St.Peter’s Primary School), George Moody Stuart, Basseterre High School and Washington Archibald High. Yet again, bright smiles, good conversations and exciting entrance entertainment were part of the warm welcoming which my cabinet collegeaues and I deeply appreciate.

Our children deserve a bright future, and you can rest assured that such is the focus of your A-Team.

NOTICE: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF DAYCARE CENTER

Basseterre: St. Kitts, Wednesday, September 14, 2022:​ Acting on the advice of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, the Industrial Site Day Care Centre will be closed on Thursday, September 15, to Friday, 23 rd September, 2022. This temporary closure will facilitate the deep cleaning and sanitization of all spaces at the Industrial Site Day Care Centre and is also a precautionary measure to curb exposure to the Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease.
