NEMA TO CONDUCT AN EVACUATION EXERCISE
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) will be conducting an Emergency
Response Evacuation Procedures Exercise of District 4 in the area of Old Road and Verchilds.
The purpose of this exercise is to strengthen the nation’s tsunami protocols and early warning
systems by testing first responders and residents’ responsiveness in the event of an earthquake that
may result in a direct impact of a tsunami.
