Traffic Lights Save Lives!

The delivery of this service is as a result of a government that listens, and then acts. It is a manifestation that we are ready to help solve the many challenges of our time. It bears from the fact that we take your convenience and your safety seriously. As the Minister with responsibility for the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Post & Urban Development, I felt a profound sense of pride when we commissioned the traffic lights yesterday in Basseterre. The Public Works Department has identified seven other areas where new traffic lights will be installed. We continue to serve.

WATER SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO EXTEND WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS TO 20 ADDITIONAL AREAS IN 2022

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 24, 2022 (SKNIS): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Infrastructure, the Honourable Shawn Richards, said the St. Kitts Water Services Department is expected to extend the water distribution to over twenty additional areas this year.

The People’s Action Movement, (PAM), extends very best wishes for a successful convention of the People’s Labour Party this weekend.


As a matter of public interest, the People’s Action Movement, (PAM), wishes to advise that it has been invited to send a delegation to the Convention of the People’s Labour Party, scheduled for Basseterre, on Saturday, 26th March, 2022.


Consequently, at our Party’s weekly Executive meeting, on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2022, it was approved that our Party will be represented by a two-member delegation, comprised of the Deputy Chairman, Mr. Azard Gumbs, and Assistant General Secretary, Ms. Danielle Warner.


The People’s Action Movement and our National Leader, Hon. Shawn Richards, continue to work in the best interest of St. Kitts & Nevis and is committed to the task of ensuring that the operations of our government are recalibrated and re-focused on the goal of Keeping the promise to deliver greater prosperity for all citizens.

Jonel Powell, Having returned to the Federation yesterday, my first order of business was to visit the staff and students of the Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School which was severely damaged by fire by some unpatriotic arsonist. As Minister of Education I stand firmly with the staff and students of the JOW School and assure them that they will rise from the ashes like that great phoenix.
