SUN COUNTRY AIRLINES TO BEGIN REGULAR SCHEDULED NON-STOP FLIGHT TO ST. KITTS AND NEVIS IN DECEMBER 2018
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 06, 2018 (SKNIS): Sun Country Airlines out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, will begin regular scheduled non-stop flights into the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw (RLB) International Airport in St. Kitts, says Minister of Tourism, Honourable Lindsay Grant, at a sitting of National Assembly on September 06.
This will be the first time there will be a no-stop service out of the Upper Midwestern region of the United States. Minister grant explained that flights more or less come from the Eastern sea board. This new flight will give persons in the Midwestern region the opportunity to connect non-stop into St. Kitts and Nevis.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 06, 2018 (SKNIS): St. Kitts and Nevis will join with the rest of the Caribbean region in celebrating Caribbean Wellness Day 2018, which falls on September 08.
A week of activities is planned in the twin-island Federation to commemorate this year’s event being held under the theme: “Maintaining a Healthy Workforce through Movement and Diet.” “SKN: a Nation on the Move” has been chosen by the local committee to convey the message of increased physical activity during Caribbean Wellness Week, which runs from September 07 to 14, 2018, and is influenced by an expanded global initiative.

MINISTRY OF HEALTH CURRENTLY DEVELOPING NCDs ACTION PLAN TO HELP COMBAT SERIOUS HEALTH RISKS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 06, 2018 (SKNIS): The Ministry of Health is currently developing a new Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) action plan to help combat the prevalence of NCDs in the Federation, says Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Hazel Laws, while appearing on Wednesday’s, September 05, edition of “Working for You.”
The CMO stated that the plan is currently being edited and then will go before the Cabinet for approval.
