Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: Today will be partly
cloudy to cloudy with a 40 percent or moderate chance of some light
and short-lived showers during the morning. Tonight will be partly
cloudy with a 30 percent or low chance of showers.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: The presence of a trough over the
Eastern Caribbean supported by some deep moisture in the vicinity of
the Southern Caribbean will produce showers and thunderstorms
today over the Windward Islands, Barbados and Trinidad and
Tobago. Some shallow moisture lingering in the vicinity of the
Leeward Islands this morning will maintain a moderate chance of
some light showers; however, drier air settling over the Islands this
afternoon and tonight will reduce the chance of showers to 30 percent
or low. The rest of the Eastern Caribbean from the Virgin Islands west
to Puerto Rico will continue to be dominated by dry air where shower
activity will remain restricted under partly cloudy skies.
