Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A high pressure system will continue
to dominate weather conditions across the region. However, the
atmosphere over Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands will become
unsettled due to a weak low level trough where skies will increase in
cloudiness, but the chances of showers across these islands will remain
low. A tightened pressure gradient is generating a moderate to fresh
wind flow across the region which is expected to transport pockets of
moisture into the area today. This will result in increased cloudiness
and a moderate chance of showers from the Southern Leeward Islands
down to the Northern Windward Islands. Meanwhile, the southern
Windward Islands down to Trinidad and Tobago will see generally
partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers.
