Winds: East-southeast today becoming east by tonight with speeds
ranging from 12 to 20 mph with gusts to near 30 mph.
Seas: 1.5 to 2.4 metres or 5 to 8 feet. A small craft advisory is now
in effect.
Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: Weather today: Cloudy
becoming partly cloudy by midday with a 50 percent or a moderate
chance of showers mainly before midday.
Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 20 percent or a slight chance
of showers.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A pre-frontal trough in the vicinity of
Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands will generate some unsettled weather
for these areas mainly today as it moves slowly eastwards. Anguilla, St.
Kitts and Nevis could also see some shower activity along with cloudy
spells associated with this trough. Another weak trough moving across
the Leeward Islands could also see, at most, a moderate chance of
showers for these islands mainly before midday. The rest of the Eastern
Caribbean will be dominated by high pressure and generally settled
weather is expected.
