Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A weak surface to low level trough will be developing over the islands of Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands and later over the Leeward Islands. This, along with available moisture, a light wind flow and general atmospheric heating will contribute to variably cloudy skies and localize showers over and around these islands today. Meanwhile, a ridge over the Windward islands and islands further south will cause generally partly cloudy to
sometimes cloudy skies but with reduced shower activity; in addition, visibilities and air quality could remain at reduced levels over St, Vincent, and nearby islands if further volcanic eruptions take place over St. Vincent.
