Winds: East – southeast today then shifting to the east tonight.  Speeds will range between 16 to 24mph with gusts possibly peaking to  near 37mph. 

Seas: 1.2 to 2.4metres or 4 to 8feet. A small craft advisory remains in effect mainly for the waters north and east of the Islands. 

Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: Today will be mostly  cloudy with a 70 percent or a high chance of showers. Tonight will be  partly cloudy with a 40 percent or a moderate chance of showers. 

Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave traversing the Eastern Caribbean will enhance the chances of showers and thunderstorm activity across the region.  Across Trinidad and Tobago and the Windwards, cloudy skies are expected with a very high chance of showers and a moderate chance of thunderstorms. The Leeward Islands will experience mostly cloudy skies today with a high chance of showers and partly cloudy skies tonight with a moderate chance of showers. The rest of the Eastern  Caribbean from Puerto Rico east to the Virgin Islands will remain under partly cloudy skies with a moderate chance of showers.
