Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A dominant high pressure system will be the main weather feature to affect conditions across the Leewards Islands and the British Virgin Islands. Stable, dry and hazy conditions will inhibit shower activity.
Meanwhile, instability and moisture associated with a tropical wave could trigger showery periods for Barbados, the Windwards Islands, as well as, Trinidad and Tobago today. Moderate levels of Saharan dust will move in to reduce shower activity from tonight. Similar unsettled conditions are possible across Puerto Rico today, as daytime heating along with a persistent upper level low maintains showery conditions and isolated thunderstorms.
