Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A tropical wave will traverse the region and result in unsettled weather conditions across the Windward Islands southward to Trinidad and Tobago. Cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms are expected across these Islands. Meanwhile, Atlantic high pressure will be dominant across the Leewards and The British Virgin Islands where shower activity will remain restricted under partly sunny to cloudy skies. Also, a low level jet-stream along with a tight pressure gradient will maintain moderate to fresh trade and gusty winds across the region, while Saharan dust in the atmosphere will maintain a hazy environment across the region.
