Thursday 9th October 2021: In October 2021, Natasha ‘Shanny” Grey celebrated her 40th birthday. For this milestone birthday Shanny decided to celebrate by having community events, as a way of giving back to the community where she grew up and still lives today.
These events included a cleanup of the Newtown/George Street area and a luncheon that followed shortly after for those who assisted in the cleanup, as well as residents in the area. Also, in October, Miss Grey was announced as the PAM Representative for East Basseterre. At the announcement of this, she vowed even more to become more involved in the community. Miss Grey has served as a volunteer for NEMA District 1, started a Book Club for the children of East Basseterre, hosted her annual Back to School Event, Christmas gift distribution for the children, delivered care packages to the elderly and needy, delivered baskets to father in the Community on Father’s Day, delivered baskets to mothers in East Basseterre and the list goes on.
