Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A weak surface to low level trough will increase the chance of brief showers over the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico today. A heighten chance of showers will also take place over Trinidad and Tobago due to lingering instability and favorable low-level support. Whereas the rest of the islands will fall under the stabilizing influence of a ridge of high pressure, an increase in the low-level wind flow will result in pockets of low-level moisture being pushed over the Leeward Islands and Windward Islands thereby causing brief passing showers at times over these islands.
