Nu Vybes Band International a.k.a De Sugar Band was formed in 1987 by a group of musicians from the capital city of Basseterre, St Kitts. Regional and international tours have amply demonstrated that the band’s popularity has spread well beyond the shores of St Kitts. The band also held the crown of Road March Champions, producing the best carnival music in St Kitts 5 times in 1997, 1998, 2002, 2003 and 2006.

Popcaan’s breakthrough came in 2010 with “Clarks”, a collaboration with Kartel. In 2011, Popcaan received the Excellence in Music and Entertainment (EME) Award for Best New Artiste, and Collaboration of the Year for “Clarks”, which also won Song of the Year (Dancehall). At the Youth View Awards, Popcaan won three awards: Favourite Summer Song and Local Chart-Topping Song of the Year for “Ravin”, and Young, Hot and Hype Male of the Year. Grammy award winner Ashanti was first discovered as a teenager and later signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. She then released her eponymous debut album, which earned her many awards, including eight Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, and a Grammy Award in 2003 for Best Contemporary R&B Album. The album has since been certified triple platinum in the United States and sold six million copies worldwide. From soca central Trinidad, Nadia has produced magical tunes that spark a sense of home for many persons out of the Caribbean. A former member of KES, she now has an all female band called “SASS Nation” which is one of the premier soca bands in Trinidad. Proud Nevisian Gospel & Contemporary Artiste Venelle Powell is set to bring an energetic performance to the St. Kitts Music Festival stage.
One of her first original songs ‘My Praise’ done on the 2010 Salvation Riddim. She then released Her debut single “I Found You” on 14th Feb 2019.

Fay-Ann Lyon was the first and ONLY Soca female artiste to win the Soca Power and Groovy segment, People’s Choice Award and Carnival Road March, she also won International Soca Monarch in the Power category with the song “Heavy T Bumpa”, while her husband placed second with “clear de Road” the same year while she was pregnant!
Bunji has won Trinidad’s Soca Monarch on several times (2002, 2004, 2005 and 2008) and in 2013 the Viking of Soca won the Soul Train Award for Best International Performance for the song “Differentology”.

Born Olurotimi Akinosho but is professionally known as ROTIMI, is a talented actor, model and singer. He is known for his role in tv series “Power” as Andre Coleman, and for his songs “Meeting in my Bed” and “Love somebody”.
