Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave will move over the Leeward Islands and islands further south today. This will result in partly cloudy to cloudy skies with brief showers over these islands with the possibility of brief isolated thunderstorms; mainly over the southern Windwards and Trinidad & Tobago today. A reduction in the chance of showers over the Leewards and Windwards is expected by tonight. Meanwhile, the rest of the islands which include the US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico will see generally fair to partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of brief showers because of the presence of a relatively stable atmosphere associated with a ridge.
