Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A tropical wave in the vicinity of Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands coupled with a favorable upper-level environment will result in periods of showers across the area. As the Atlantic high pressure system rebuilds across the Leeward Islands moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave traversing the area will maintain a moderate chance at best of showers. Elsewhere, further south across the island chain down to Trinidad and Tobago the aforementioned tropical wave will result in a high chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms across some of the islands.
