Showers and thunderstorms associated with a #tropicalwave located about 1000 miles east of the Lesser Antilles have increased and become better organized since yesterday afternoon.
Further development of this system is possible and a #tropicaldepression could form over the next several days while it approaches the #LeewardIslands by Friday.
Regardless of development, rainfall totals ranging between 0.5 – 6.0 inches should be anticipated over portions of the Lesser Antilles for the next several days from Thursday with the highest quantities expected over portions of the northern #WindwardIslands the #Leewardislands and the #Viginislands
Elevated wind gusts and seas should also be anticipated in some areas during this period as the system traverses the area.
