Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Moisture and instability associated with a shearline will maintain unsettled weather conditions across the Windward Islands southward to Trinidad and Tobago. Meanwhile, a surface trough across Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands will maintain unsettled conditions throughout the next 24 hours. Elsewhere, the Atlantic high-pressure system remains dominant across the Leeward Islands. However, a favorable upper-level environment will enhance pockets of moisture moving across the islands resulting in periods of brief showers today. Conditions associated with the shearline will extended northward and increase the chances of showers for the Leewards tonight into Sunday.
