Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A shear line will maintain unsettled weather conditions across the Leeward Islands today. As the shear line moves northward conditions will improve across the islands as the day progresses. Conditions across the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico will become unsettled into the night as moisture and instability associated with the aforementioned shear line lingers across this area. Elsewhere, generally settled weather will prevail, as the Atlantic high pressure dominates conditions. Shallow patches of low-level clouds will occasionally move across the area and conditions are likely to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with a moderate chance of brief showers.
