Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Lingering moisture and instability associated with a tropical
wave will maintain periods of showers across the Southern Windward Islands down to
Trinidad and Tobago today. Conditions across these islands will progressively improve this
evening into tonight. Elsewhere, settled atmospheric conditions will prevail as the Atlantic
high-pressure system continues to be dominant. Conditions are likely to be generally fair to
partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers at best as the atmosphere remains relatively dry.
Meanwhile, Saharan dust will continue to move across the area in varying concentration
resulting in hazy conditions.
