Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A fairly stable atmosphere will continue to restrict showers activity across Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands where mainly partly cloudy skies will prevail today and tonight with a moderate chance of showers for the most. Meanwhile some shallow moisture and instability moving out ahead of a tropical wave will keep the chances of showers at moderate across the rest of the Eastern Caribbean during the morning. However, as the tropical wave gets closer to the region and the moisture and instability is enhanced, the chances of showers and thunderstorms will heighten across the Leeward Islands south to Trinidad starting later this afternoon and continues through to Saturday.
