Weather Forecast for St. Kitts & Nevis: Today will be cloudy with a 70 percent or a high chance of showers and a 40 percent or a moderate chance of thunderstorms. Tonight will be cloudy to overcast with moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Tropical Storm Phillipe will be the dominant feature affecting the Islands of the Eastern Caribbean today, tonight and into tomorrow. Outer rain bands associated with this feature will generate cloudiness and showers over the central and northern Windwards today. These conditions will spread over the Leewards by tonight, generating intense rainfall and gusty conditions to these Islands. As a result, a Tropical Storm watch remains in effect for portions of the Leewards. The threat of flash flooding is more likely over the Leewards tonight and hence, a flash flood watch may be issued for these Is lands later today. Gradually improving conditions are expected over the Windwards by tonight. Meanwhile, patches of clouds embedded within the northeasterly wind-flow will generate cloudy spells with brief showers over the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
