Kaitlynn Wilson – Basseterre High School
Kaitlynn Wilson is a remarkable 14-year-old with an extraordinary passion for dance, gymnastics and aerial arts. Her journey began at the tender age of 3 when she earned the affectionate nickname “Tumblina” for her boundless energy and love for flips, spins and twirls.
Kaitlynn’s educational journey led her to Basseterre High School, where she currently thrives in Form 4. However, her true calling lies in the world of performing arts. At the age of 11, she discovered the enchanting world of the aerial hoop at Poise SKN. With unyielding determination and the guidance of a mentor, she swiftly became the youngest aerialist in the Federation, finding her true sense of freedom and purpose while performing on the aerial hoop.
In 2022, Kaitlynn ventured to Texas for intensive training with the Texas Circus and Aerial, mastering the trapeze and perfecting intricate moves on the aerial hoop. This experience marked a significant step toward her dream of becoming a professional dancer and lyra aerialist.
In 2023, Kaitlynn joined the Basseterre High School cheerleading squad and played a pivotal role in leading the team to a three-peat victory at the Giant Malt Cheerleading Competition, showcasing her versatility and teamwork skills. Outside of her passion for the arts, Kaitlynn dedicates her time to the Kids Club, visiting children’s homes and organizing engaging activities for the community’s younger members.
Guided by the mantra “God is within her; she will not fail” (Psalm 46:5), Kaitlynn Wilson continues her journey, inspiring with her grace, resilience, and determination. The world eagerly anticipates her ascent to professional stardom as she continues to pursue her dreams with unwavering faith.
