RAFAEL ADAMES SENTENCED FOR INDECENT ASSAULT
Rafael Adames has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Indecent Assault, committed on June 8th, 2024.
On July 8th, 2025, Mr. Adames entered a plea of guilty to one count of Indecent Assault and his sentencing was slated for a later date. With the translation services provided for
Mr. Adames, whose native language is Spanish, on September 25th, 2025, he was sentenced to five (5) years imprisonment with time spent on remand (ten (10) months and twenty-seven (27) days) to be deducted. Under current provisions, he is expected to serve two-thirds of the sentence with good behaviour.
Mr. Adames’ sentence was handed down by His Lordship Justice Iain Morkey, KC, at the Basseterre Circuit Court.
