Eastern Caribbean Forecast: Drier and more stable conditions will exist over the Windwards and islands further south today. This will result in generally partly cloudy skies; however, some brief showers are possible because of shallow clouds embedded within a moderate breeze. Meanwhile, lingering moisture will still cause passing showers over the Leewards, but the frequency will decrease as the day progresses as the trough and associated moisture shifts westwards over the Virgin Islands later today which will result in mostly cloudy skies with brief showers over those islands with afternoon convective activity likely over Puerto Rico due to local effects.
