In six days, Basseterre, St. Kitts, will be transformed into the Entertainment Capital of the world. The 2025 edition of the St Kitts Music Festival (SKMF) kicks off its 27th season on Thursday, June 26, for three nights, and the anticipation couldn’t be higher.

Based on the diversity of the festival’s musical lineup, tickets are moving rapidly both online and at the physical outlets. Featured this year will be Shenseea, Patrice Roberts, Kes the Band, Kollision Band, Honey Bees String Band, Yung Bredda, Spice, Dejour, DJ Tero, St Kitts Steel Orchestra, Ayra Star, Romain Virgo, Abena Amory, Christopher Martin, Jennifer Hudson and Vybz Kartel, among others.

The transformation of the venue has begun, and hundreds of local workers are gainfully employed to ensure that the stage, VIP and VVIP lounges, and the Food Court meet international standards for the festival, which is just six days away. Patrons can also look forward to the arrival experience that will highlight several aspects of our folklore, including Masquerades, Clowns and Moko Jumbies. The Artisan Village will offer locally made arts and crafts described as the perfect gifts for visitors. A second stage is also part of this transformation of the festival’s venue, Warner Park.

Leading up to the festival, another “We Limin” where fans can win festival tickets and other goodies, is scheduled for Fort Street on Friday, June 20. Also on Friday, White Sands invites foodies to their “Sushi Buffet”. On Saturday, June 21, the streets of Basseterre will be energized by Nu Vybes Band International in the now famous “Festival Jouvert” starting at 6am.

Visitor arrivals have started to spike, and the RLB Airport is bracing for one of its busiest seasons ever. Airlines such as silver sponsor, Sunrise Airways, have increased their flights connecting Dominica, St Marten and Antigua to St Kitts.

The 27th edition of the St Kitts Music Festival will be held from June 26-28 at the historic Warner Park. Tickets for this year’s festival are available at the Ministry of Tourism and The Cable in St. Kitts and at Valu Mart and Caribbean Lottery outlets in both St. Kitts and Nevis. With six days to go, fans can also purchase tickets and stay updated at www.stkittsmusicfestival.com.
