cloudy to locally cloudy with 60 percent or moderate chance of
afternoon showers.
Weather tonight: Mostly cloudy with occasional evening showers.
Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A weak tropical wave is approaching
the Eastern Caribbean; however, the wave is not expected to find
much support over the southern Caribbean because of atmospheric
subsidence. Skies over the southern Windwards, Barbados and
Trinidad and Tobago will be generally partly cloudy with brief passing
showers. The presence of a low to mid-level trough will incite some
showers over the northern Windwards today. Later tonight, the wave
will interact with the trough to generate cloudy periods with a higher
chance of showers over these islands. Locally cloudy skies are also
expected over portions of Puerto Rico this afternoon due to the
presence of an upper level low and local effects. The rest of the islands
which include the Leewards will see generally partly cloudy to
sometimes cloudy skies with a moderate chance of passing showers.
