Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A ridge of high pressure will generate a moderate breeze over the islands of the Eastern Caribbean today and tonight. Pockets of moisture embedded within the wind flow will be pushed over the islands at times causing brief periods of increased cloudiness and passing showers. Meanwhile, localized showers with the possibility of afternoon thunderstorms are likely over portions of Puerto Rico because of local effects. By early tomorrow, clouds associated with a tropical wave will increase the chance of showers and thunderstorms over Trinidad and Tobago.
