I would like to take this opportunity to thank Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley for signing this momentous agreement on my behalf in securing USD$40 million with the Saudi Fund for Development for the purchasing of modern generators to transform the Needsmust Power Plant.

Special thanks to the Government of the Kingdom of the Saudi Arabia for this valuable input, demonstrating their commitment to partnership in building a climate smart sustainable future.

I would also like to thank Hon. Konris G M Maynard, Minister of Energy, for his work on this very important initiative.
