THE GRAND CARNIVAL PARADE & LAS LAP
All bands, troupes, competition winners and groups MUST assemble at the Patsy Allers’ Playing Field by 11:00 a.m.
Parade will start at 12 noon sharp.
ROUTE FOR GRAND CARNIVAL PARADE
From Patsy Aller’s Playfield on Wigley Avenue, turn right into Cayon Street, right on West Independence Square Street, right onto the Bay Road, right up College Street Ghaut, right onto Liverpool Row into The Circus and up Fort Street, all the way to Warner Park turning right into the old Carnival City gate, and then right on to the Warner Park Cricket Field to proceed across the field for final judging.
JUDGING POINTS FOR GRAND CARNIVAL PARADE
1. Patsy Allers Playing Field
2. Greenlands Park (Judging between Fiennes Avenue & West Bourne Ghaut)
3. National Bank Balcony on West Independence Square Street
4. Bay Road Port Zante Entrance (Judging between Treasury Building and KFC)
5. Warner Park
Sugar Mas’ Flags will be erected on both sides of the streets indicating Judging zones.
Two (2) judges will be assigned to each judging point.

This award recognizes and acknowledges the winner of troupe of the year and the runners up. The troupe amassing the highest total in this section will be adjudged Troupe Of The Year.

A total of 5 points be deducted for troupes not displaying Banners.

There may be floats from businesses, schools, groups, etc.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Every effort will be made to announce winners in all categories by 12:00 noon on 2nd January 2018.
