St. Kitts and Nevis police investigation rape incident
Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 17, 2018 – Police investigations are continuing into a rape incident that occurred in the Taylor’s Range area over the weekend.
The incident occurred in the same area where two break-ins reportedly took place and the offence could be connection to one of the incidents.
Two persons are said to be in police custody assisting in the police investigation.
“Rape is a wicked and atrocious crime and many consider it worse than murder because In the case of a murder a person dies but in the event of rape the victim dies every day going through the trauma,” said WINNFM, the only media house which reported the incident.
“There is a high level of stress, pain and trauma which the victim and his or her family would undergo, and would continue to undergo till he or she is able to erase the horrific memories, one concerned citizen has intimated,” said WINNFM.
