SKNSA’s student athlete, Cameron Pennyfeather gets Super 50 call
Jan 30th 2018 — The West Indies Cricket Board Regional Super 50 Tournament is slated to begin on Jan 30th 2018, and Member of the St.Kitts-Nevis Students’ Association (SKNSA) and student Athlete, Cameron Pennyfeather, has been selected as one of the 14 regional students to form part of the CCC Marooners Squad competing in this year’s tournament.
Pennyfeather, who has represented the Leeward Islands Franchise at the U13, U15, U17, U19 and U23 levels, currently plays with the SAGICOR UWI Blackbirds in local cricket competitions in Barbados. Himself, along with the other students who make up the Combined Campuses and College Squad are set to compete in Zone A of the tournament taking place in Barbados at the world renowned Kensington Oval, Windward Cricket Ground and the 3 W’s Oval.
Cameron will wear the number 68 on his back throughout the tournament’s entirety! A young lad from a 68 sq m country set to compete in what has been dubbed the region’s most exciting tournament!
This zone, A, consists of 5 franchises, the reigning champs the Barbados Pride, Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, Combined Campuses & Colleges Marooners, Windward Islands Volcanoes and the Hampshire County Cricket Club.
