Preparation for the next general elections and other issues at SKNLP press conference this afternoon
Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 31, 2018 – The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) holds its first press conference for the year this afternoon (Wednesday) January 31.
SKNLP National Political Leader and Leader of the Opposition, The Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas is expected to deal with several issues including an update on the party’s preparation for the next general elections constitutionally due in 2020 but which can be called at anytime.
Deputy Political Leader, Dr. Earl Asim Martin; Chairperson and Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 2 (Central Basseterre), Hon. Marcella Liburd; Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher 3 (West Basseterre), Hon. Konris Maynard and caretaker for St. Christopher 8, Dr. Terrance Drew, will also attend the press conference, make opening statements and field questions from the local press corps.
The press conference in the Conference Room at the Koi building, next to the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, begins at 1:30 pm and will be carried live on Freedom 106.5 FM and Kyss 102.5 FM.
