REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
Basseterre, St. Kitts February 02, 2017 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period January 12–19, 2018.
Arrested: Chad Deposoir of Boyds Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for items used in the commission of a crime. A number of items of interest were taken into police custody for investigation purposes.
Arrested: Keith Oneil Braid alias Nile Antonio Christopher, a native of St. Christopher and Nevis who resided in Orlando, Florida, U.S.A., was arrested, formally charged and cautioned on a Provisional Warrant of Apprehension for two counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder in the state of Florida, U.S.A.


Arrested/Bailed: Bernell Whyte of Fort Thomas Road was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on February 05, 2018.
Arrested: De Josh Sampson of Half-Way-Tree, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested: Willis Browne was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested: Akeem Christopher alias Lil Man of Prickley Pear Alley was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without License and Insurance.
Arrested: Ryan Warner of Prickley Pear Alley was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested: Vernon Richardson of Newton Ground was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Building Breaking and Larceny
Arrested/Bailed: Kristine Antoine of Marion Heights was arrested, formally charged and cautioned on four (4) Warrants, in the first instance, for the offence of Larceny by Servant. The offences were committed on September 24, 2017, October 15, 2017, November 16, 2017 and December 03, 2017 respectively at S.L. Horsfords and Company Ltd. located at Stoney Grove, Nevis. She was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for her appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on a date to be determined by the Court. The bail was granted under the condition that Ms. Antoine is to surrender all travel documents to the Magistrate.
Arrested/Bailed: Dejosh Sampson of Half-Way-Tree was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences Possession of Cannabis and Possession with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at Basseterre Magistrate Court on February 05, 2018.
Bailed: Christopher True of Silver Reef, an American citizen who resides at Frigate Bay, who was charged for the offence of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving of the Late Pastor Mark Hodge of Sandy Point on November 18, 2017 along the island Main Road at Needsmust, was granted bail in the sum of $500,000 for his appearance before the Basseterre Magistrate Court on April 12, 2018. The conditions are: (1) the applicant is to report to the Frigate Bay Police Station once daily between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; (2) the applicant is to surrender his passport and all travel documents; (3) the applicant should not leave the Federation until the matter is disposed of or dispensed with; (4) the applicant must refrain from driving any motor vehicle or train or locomotive in the Federation pending the outcome of the matter; and (4) any breach of any one of these conditions will result in revocation of the bail.
Bailed: Phoenix Southwell, who was charged with the offence of Wounding with Intent to Commit Murder was granted bail in the sum of $1,000. The conditions are: (1) the accused is to surrender all travel documents to the Registrar of the High Court forthwith; (2) the accused is to report to the Basseterre Police Station every Monday and Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 6 p.m.; (3) he is to have no contact with the Virtual Complainant or any witness involved in this case; (4) he is to observe a curfew every night and be at his residence at Fortlands between the hours of 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.; and (5) he is not to come 100ft to the V/C and any breach of the terms specified here will result in revocation of the bail.
Bailed: Jared Griffin of Brick Kiln Village, who was committed to stand trial in the April 2018 Criminal Assizes for the offence of Wounding with Intent, was granted bail in the sum of $35,000 for his appearance at a given time and date for Court.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Abandoned Properties: Police continue to execute searches of abandoned properties. Most recently, searches were done in the following areas: Shaw Avenue, Taylors, Fiennes Avenue, Sand Down Road and New Road.
Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Manchester Avenue, Shaw Avenue, McKnight, Conaree Village, Central Fiennes Avenue, Cayon Village, Kittstoddat, Molyneaux Village and Phillips Village.
House Breaking and Larceny: Police responded to several reports of House Breaking and Larceny which occurred in the following areas: Prickley Pear Alley, Upper Fiennes Avenue and Taylors.
Citizen Safety: Police continued to conduct Vehicle Check Points and Stop and Search Exercises along the island main road on St. Kitts and Nevis. These activities, along with search operations on abandoned properties, are being conducted in support of anti-crime objectives to remove illegal firearms and ammunition, illegal drugs and other instruments that can be used to commit crimes in our communities.
