Labour Department Relocating???

Despite the Harris-headed coalition government’s lies and attempts to cover up the raging mold contamination situation within the Labour Department’s Treasury Building location, the truth has surfaced. As a result, the Department may soon be relocated.

Thanks to the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party’s persistent pressure on the Harris-led government, the Minister of Labour, Vance Amory, and his Permanent Secretary, Ron Collins, are silently and desperately seeking another location for the department.
The SKNLP has continuously challenged the government to place the health of the people before their greed and corrupt actions. This time, however, the public’s outcry and decreased work output due to many staff members being sent on mandatory sick leave by doctors have forced the Harris government to backtrack and remove the staff from the contaminated quarters.
For some time now, staff members of the department have been showing symptoms and illnesses resultant from daily and direct contact with mold and other life-threatening contaminants found within their offices.
As a result, many of the department’s staff were sent on home on sick leave.
Amory and Collins both accused the staff of lying and labeled them as crooks.
Both have publicly expressed that the office is in tip-top shape and that staff members are trying to frame the government. This they noted, despite the many reports from local doctors and tests results which supported their claim.
Nonetheless, the men are moving the department from the so-called tip-top shape office on Church Street and are on the hunt for alternative office space.
The staff was sent home last week and was asked to return today, Monday 12th. However, the staff received yet another notice indicating that they should remain at home, this time, until further notice.
The Minister, his PS, and other cohorts in the government are now frantically searching for possible venues at which they can reopen the department.
This government must be stopped!
The lives of our people depend on it!
