REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Basseterre, St. Kitts February 12, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period February 03– 08, 2018.
ARRESTS AND BAIL:
Arrested: Marisa Huggins of the Garden Housing Project was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for simple wounding which was committed on January 14, 2018.
Arrested: Keane Mayer, an American who resides at Frigate Bay, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without Insurance.
Arrested: Kenrick Lewis of Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested/Bailed: Rodrique James of St. Pauls was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.


Arrested/Bailed: Tyrique Francis of St. Pauls was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Edwards Phillip of St. Pauls was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: DejourneCaines of St. Pauls was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Leshon Freeman of Rawlins Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on February 09, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Dillon White of Cleverly Hill was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Cultivation of Cannabis. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Jamie Chapman of Clay Ghaut, Gingerland was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on February 13, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Jehu Kelly of Hardtimes, Gingerland, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on February 07, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Ashimo Freeman of Rawlins Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court on February 07, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Shane Richards, a Jamaican who resides at Bird Rock, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving a Motor Car Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 01, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Marlon Heath of Cardin Avenue was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on April 02, 2018 with the following conditions: (1) he should not have any contact or communication with the Virtual Complainant; and (2) he is to keep at least 100 ft from the Virtual Complainant and his home.
Arrested/Bailed: Raheem Browne of Conaree Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on March 01, 2018.
Bailed: Paulus Richardson of St Pauls/Sandy Point who was charged for the offence of Wounding with Intent was granted bail in the sum of $20,000 for his appearance at the Circuit Court on February 16, 2018 on the condition that the Applicant should surrender all travel documents to the said court.
Bailed: Darel Sutton of Challengers Village, who was charged for the offences of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License and Driving When not Covered by Insurance, was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Bailed: Keric Lewis of Sandy Point, who was charged with Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Bailed: Trevonne Hendrickson of Grove Village, St. Paul’s, who was charged for the offences of Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired License and Driving Without Insurance, was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Bailed: Everette Davis of St Pauls, who was charged with the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
Bailed: Vashney Jules of St Pauls, who was charged with the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.
COURT CONVICTIONS:
In Matters at the District “A” Magistrate Court, presided over by Her Honour Miss Harris, the following convictions were reported:
– Antoine Galloway of Ponds Extension, who was charged with the offence of Conveying Contrabands into Her Majesty’s Prison on September 24, 2017, pleaded guilty to the charge and was subsequently convicted and sentenced to three (3) months imprisonment.
In Matters at the District “B” Magistrate Court, presided over by Her Worship Mrs. Karen Hector, the following convictions were reported:
– TejauneGumbs of Dieppe Bay, who was charged for (1) Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License, (2) Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle, and (3) Driving Without Insurance, was ordered to pay a fine of $200 to be paid in sixteen (16) days on each charge or, in default, serve thirty (30) days in prison on each charge.
– Rasheed Eddy of The Alley, Sandy Point, who was charged for Driving Without Due Care and Attention, (2) Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License, and (3) Driving Without Insurance at Stone Fort, Challengers, was ordered to pay a fine of $300 in sixteen (16) days on each charge or, in default, serve thirty (30) days in prison for each charge.
In Matters at the District “C” Magistrate Court, presided over by Her Honor Miss Yasmine Clarke, the following convictions were reported:
– Sydney Jeffers of Craddock Road was charged with three (3) counts of Failing to Comply with the Traffic Sign. He was convicted and fined $400 to be paid in one month or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days imprisonment on one count, and was convicted and cautioned for the other two counts of Failing to Comply with the Traffic Sign.
-McCleavan Watkins of Hard Times was charged with the offence of Making use of Indecent Language. He was convicted and fined $250 to be paid by 4 p.m. on February 06, 2018 or, in default, serve fourteen (14) days imprisonment.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Marijuana Plants Uprooted: Officers from the Special Services Unit (SSU) patrol conducted an exercise and reported that they discovered, uprooted and seized sixty-five (65) marijuana plants ranging from seedlings to two (2) feet in height. The plants were found at Taylor’s Village.
Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Rawlins Village, Hard Times (Gingerland), Bath Village, Soho Village, West Street, St. Pauls, Taylor’s and Trafalagar Village.
House Breaking and Larceny: Police responded to several reports of House Breaking and Larceny which occurred in the following areas: Saddlers Village, Fort Thomas Road, Seaton Street, McKnight and Limekiln Project.
