FORMER PM DOUGLAS-LED ST.KITTS-NEVIS LABOUR PARTY ADMINISTRATION ALLEGEDLY ENGAGED ISRAELI GROUP TO HACK EMAILS AND MEDICAL RECORDS OF PRIME MINISTER DR. TIMOTHY HARRIS
The Fallout from the recent revelation regarding Cambridge Analytica and the Donald Trump Presidential Campaign has brought to light the dirty underworld of International Politics and espionage. In a UK Guardian Newspaper piece published on March 21st, 2018 it has been revealed that Israeli Hackers accessed the private emails of two politicians who are now heads of state of St.Kitts-Nevis and Nigeria respectively.
St.Kitts-Nevis Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris was the target of the Israeli Hackers whilst an Opposition UNITY Coalition Leader in early 2015. The Israeli Hackers were engaged by surrogates of the then ruling Dr. Denzil Douglas led SKN Labour Party to find dirt on the popular Opposition Coalition group TEAM UNITY Leader Dr. Timothy Harris. According to the Guardian News The Israeli’s, who were contracted by the Cambridge Analytica in the Nigerian elections months earlier, accessed the email account of the now St.Kitts-Nevis Prime Minister Dr. Harris. They similarly hacked into the emails of the current Nigerian leader in the lead up to the elections there. Executives at Cambridge Analytica – including CEO Alexander Nix – instructed the staff to use the materials provided by the hackers in election the respective campaigns in Nigeria and St. Kitts and Nevis, citing multiple sources.
Cambridge Analytica is a subsidiary of SCL Elections Company who managed the 2010 Re-Election Campaign of Dr. Denzil Douglas in St.Kitts-Nevis. SCL were paid millions for their involvement and management of the successful re-election Campaign of Dr. Denzil Douglas. The Firm was apparently similarly engaged for Dr. Douglas’ 4th re-election bid in early 2015 where the Israeli HACKERS accessed the personal information including emails and medical records of the now St.Kitts-Nevis Prime Minister HARRIS.
Hired by a Nigerian billionaire to support the re-election of Goodluck Jonathan, Cambridge Analytica was aslo paid an estimated £2m to orchestrate a ferocious campaign against his rival, the opposition leader Muhammadu Buhari. Jonathan lost out to Buhari in the presidential race in Nigeria.
The revelations will add to the questions facing Cambridge Analytica and the techniques it uses to influence elections for its clients.
SCL boasted on its website (until all such references were removed in recent weeks) of managing and/or assisting election campaigns in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Another reference to work carried out for the police in Jamaica has also been removed from its website in recent days.
In the UK, the Electoral Commission and the Information Commissioner’s Office are investigating the firm for breaches of electoral and data protection law.
