Special Worship Service on Sunday to mark Dr.Douglas’ 29th Anniversary as a Parliamentarian
Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 24, 2018 – Residents and constituents of St. Christopher 6 (Newton Ground to Harris’), will worship on Sunday 24th March at a Thanksgiving Service to celebrate the 29th Anniversary of The Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas as their Parliamentary Representative.
The Service in observance of the 29th year since his first election to Parliament begins at 10 a.m. at the Wesleyan Holiness Church on Main Street in St. Paul’s, Dr. Douglas’ hometown.
“It is celebrating a legacy of dynamic and visionary leadership at Constituency, National, Regional and International levels,” a member of the Constituency Six Branch Executive of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) said.
The seven-term Member of the National Assembly was first elected on March 21, 1989 and has been re-elected in general elections held in 1993, 1995, 2000, 2004, 2010 and 2015.
