Hon. Michael Browne & Krystal Tomlinson Set To Speak At 2018 SKNLP Conference
The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party is gearing up to host its annual conference this Sunday May 20th, 2018, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, under the theme ‘Labour: Stronger- Safer- Better For You’.
The conference, which begins a new year for the movement, is popularly known for having inspiring and motivational regional and international speakers.
The Party has just revealed that there will be two guest speakers this year; Hon. Michael Brown of Antigua and Barbuda and Ms. Krystal Tomlinson of Jamaica.
Accordingly, Hon. Brown is currently the Minister of Education, Science and Technology. He is passionate about the education, training and re-training individuals as a means of empowering the masses.
He says that education, for many, is the most dependable pathway out of poverty to improved standards of life, living, social and economic advancement.
As for Ms. Tomlinson, she was recently elected as president of the People’s National Party’s youth organisation in Jamaica. Professionally, she is a communications consultant and a firm believer in goal-setting and self-management.
Leader of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party, Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas will also make his annual address to the supporters of the movement and the nation.
The conference will see a new executive committee being installed and a number of other vital changes being adopted.
