SUDDEN DEATH OF MOUNT LILY RESIDENT BEING INVESTIGATED

 

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 18, 2018 (RSCNPF): An autopsy is expected to be performed on the body of 38-year-old Couchie Jones of Mount Lily, Nevis who died in his home this week.

 At about 6:35 a.m. on May 16, his mother had reported to the Castle Police Station that her son collapsed in the bathroom and appeared to be dead. Police investigations so far have revealed that Jones had been complaining of stomach pains. With the assistance of his father, he was preparing to be taken to the hospital. Jones had asked his father to help him get to the bathroom where he collapsed.

The District Medical Officer visited the scene, examined the body and pronounced Jones dead. To determine the cause of death, an autopsy has been scheduled for next week and the Police are continuing their investigations into the matter.
