Team Unity Government has taken off like Kim Collins in 100 meters dash

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, May 26, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has experienced so much development since Team Unity Administration has been in office, and a veteran man of the cloth has equated the speed of great things happening in form of development to legendary sprinter Kim Collins’ take off in a 100 meters dash.

Pastor Judah Payne of the Millionaire Harvest Church in Tabernacle did not mince his words when on Sunday May 20 he was asked by Master of Ceremonies, Attorney General the Hon Vincent Byron, to invoke God’s blessing on proceedings of Prime Minister’s Open Forum held at the Edgar T. Morris Primary School in Tabernacle.

“Eternal God and Righteous Father, we give You all the praise, the glory and the honour as Your Word said and forget not all its benefits, bless the Lord oh my soul,” started Pastor Payne in his prayer at the function which had Prime Minister Dr the Hon Timothy Harris as the main speaker, with Senior Minister the Hon Vance Amory, and Minister the Hon Ian Patches Liburd making contributions.

“I thank You God for this Government, Unity Government,” stated Pastor Payne. “We thank You for how You are inspiring them for the great things that are happening, so hard to keep up with, as if, well, Kim Collins taking off for 100 meters. We give You praise, glory and honour, we honour You highly this afternoon and we declare that Jesus Christ is Lord of St. Christopher and Nevis.”

The man of the cloth requested Father God to bless the Prime Minister, and other ministers of Government, and to also bless each one of those who were due to make their input that afternoon. He told God that all are looking forward for greater things, noting that greater things are ahead.

“We thank you for this free nation that we are able to gather today and celebrate Pentecost,” continued Pastor Payne. “We thank you for such a feast, and we are thanking You oh God for the prosperity of this our Federation that we have never seen the like before, and we are looking as I said before, for greater things. We place this meeting in Your hands this afternoon.”

Emphasising the role the church plays, Prime Minister Harris attends worship services at the various churches in the country. His Team Unity Administration recognised the importance of God in people’s lives by creating a Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs, which is headed by Senior Minister the Hon Vance Amory, who was one of the speakers at the event.

Serenading the hundreds who attended the Open Forum were two seasoned solo performers, Ms Shirley Williams and Mrs Dawn Williams Archibald. Ms Williams who is a member of the Miracle Temple in Lodge presented the song ‘That is what friends are for’ by Dianne Warrick, while Mrs Williams-Archibald who is a member of the International Deliverance Centre in New Town presented the song ‘You made a way’ by Travis Greene.
