REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 20, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period June 16-18, 2018.
ARRESTS AND BAIL:
Arrested: Darren Caines of St. Paul’s was arrested, formally charged and cautioned on three warrants in the first instance for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Importation of Cannabis.
Arrested: Marlo’ Alano Martin of Stapleton Estate was arrested, formally charged and cautioned on three warrants in the first instance for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Importation of Cannabis. .
Arrested: A man in the parish of St. Georges was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for two counts of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge committed against a juvenile.
Arrested: A juvenile of Soho, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of House Breaking With intent. The offence was committed on April 26, 2018.
Arrested: Kelvin Freeman of Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested: Evron Williams of Farms Site, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested/Bailed: Joshua Didier of Douglas Estate, St. Peters was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Assault, Taking a Vehicle Without the Consent of the Owner and Driving Without Insurance. He was granted bail in the sum of $15,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on July 02, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Latishaw Joshua of Lower Shaw Avenue was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Battery on Police and Disorderly Conduct by Fighting. She was granted bail in the sum of $8,000 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Berecia Ryan of John Street, Newtown was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Disorderly Conduct by Fighting. She was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018.
Arrested/Bailed: Damian James of Upper Fiennes Avenue, Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without Insurance and Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle. He was granted bail in the sum of $8,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on July 02, 2018.
Bailed: Lashon Hendrickson of Buckley’s Estate, who was charged for the offence of Driving Without Insurance, was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 05, 2018.
Bailed: Shawnelle Scott of East Shadwell Development who was formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Assault With Intent to Commit Robbery was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 02, 2018. The bail condition is that the accused is to keep 100 feet away from the virtual complainant.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Lower Shaw Avenue, The Alley (Sandy Point), Salt Pond Alley, Taylor’s Village and Keys Village.
Abandoned Properties Searched: Police continued to execute searches on properties. Most recently they were done in the areas of Phillip’s, Bird Rock, New Road, Upper Thibou Avenue, St. Johnson Village, Stapleton Village.
