REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 27, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period June 23-27, 2018.

ARRESTS AND BAIL:

Arrested: Latisha Webbe of Crab Hill, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny. She was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for her appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018.

Arrested/Bailed: Jahvial Walwyn of Half Way Tree, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Refusing to Give Name, Failing To Comply With Traffic Signs and Resisting Arrest. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018.

Bailed: Darren Caines of St. Paul’s, who was charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Importation of Cannabis was granted bail in the sum of $50,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018. His bail conditions are that: (1) he is to have no contact with the Prosecution’s witnesses; and (2) he is to report to the Dieppe Bay Police Station every MondayWednesday and Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Bailed: Khalifah Liburd of Buckley’s Development, who was arrested for the offence of Disorderly Conduct by Fighting,was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 02, 2018

Bailed: Davil Francis of Buckley’s Estate, who was arrested for Disorderly Conduct by Fighting, was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 02, 2018.

Bailed: Gavin Rogers of Old Road, St. Thomas, who was charged for the offence of Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery, was granted bail in the sum of $25,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 02, 2018. His bail conditions are that: (1) he is to surrender all travel documents; (2) he is to report to the Old Road Police Station every Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and (3) he is to have no contact with the Virtual Complainant.

Bailed: Shawn Isaac of Phillips Village, who was charged for the Offence of Forgery, was granted bail in the sum of $20,000 for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on July 20, 2018, with the bail condition that he is to report to the Tabernacle Police Station every Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Bailed: Steve Adams of Downing Street, Sandy Point who was charged for the offence of Possession of Firearm, was granted bail in the sum of $60,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on August 13, 2018.  The bail conditions are that: (1) he is to report to the Sandy Point Police Station between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and (2) he is to observe a curfew from 7 p.m.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Search Warrants Executed: Police executed several search warrants during the period of this report. Warrants were executed on properties in the following areas: Stone Fort Heights, Old Road, New Castle, St. Johnson Village, New Road, McKnight, Brick Kiln and Sandy Point.
